me and you and a dog named boo...

i decided today that i wanted to start a blog. 

well, i have actually been thinking about it for a while. 

so much has changed for our little family in just this last month. i finished grad school and finally earned a ph.d., we finally got a puppy, and we finally moved from charlottesville back home to wv.  but after all of those finally's, i am a little unbelievably sad about all of the people we are going to miss. i hope this is a way to keep in touch with friends and family and becomes a way to document what is going on in our lives.

the blog title comes from this awesome 70s song by lobo of the same name. 

ok, 'awesome' may be a little strong, but it's accurate. i'm more of an 80s kindofgirl. i can imagine most posts being taken over by the antics of little miss boo, because i think she's about the coolest thing since nutella and is always in to something.
